Kilkenny Tourist Hostel
This is a fun, central, fantastic medium-sized hostel, located right in the center of downtown Kilkenny.
The hostel is in a beautiful 260 year-old Georgian townhouse with many of the original features still intact.
New for 2007 is FREE WiFi access.
The atmosphere is cosy, mellow and relaxed. You will get a warm welcome at what is generally regarded as the best budget accommodation in the city.
Our notice boards are famous for the information provided about what's on in town. We'll let you know where to hear the best traditional music, how to do a free tour of Kilkenny Brewery and where to see a hurling match.
We have a kitchen where you can cook and a lovely sitting room with an open turf burning fire.

We also have a laundry service, free lockers and no curfew or lockout.
The hostel aims to to provide clean, low-cost and friendly accommodation for visitors to Kilkenny.
It is the only hostel in the city that is approved by the official Irish Tourist Board and it is a member of the most important group of independent hostels- the Independent Holiday Hostels.
Our reception is open until 11pm for check ins. Please note payment is to be ,ade in cash.

We dont accommodate hen or stag groups.
