Castlefield is a modern and eye catching bungalow style B&B, situated in a peaceful rural spot just 2.5km outside Kilkenny city in County Kilkenny.
It's a resplendent house with a nicely decorated and fresh interior, as well as an excellent view looking out onto the River Nore. Its facilities include a high chair and cot so you can bring the kids along, as well as a private parking area where you can leave the car.
There are four en suite bedrooms, each of them equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a TV and a hair dryer. The whole premises is central heated and private parking is provided.
Staying at Castlefield means you are only a short distance from Kilkenny city and it's famous limestone architecture. See monuments such as Kilkenny Castle and the Black Abbey, or go for walks out on the nearby Slieveardagh Hills. Anglers can do a spot of fishing at the River Nore, while golfers are spoilt for choice with courses such as Kilkenny, Castlecomer, Callan and Mount Juliet all within close proximity.
Directions
From Kilkenny City go to the Carlow Rd roundabout taking the Carlow Rd exit, the Sion Rd is the 1st turn right after Maxol Station, 500m, B&B on right.
